How many people think that Obama will go down in history as a great President?
I do.. Just like I know Bush will go down as one of the worst. You GOP fear-mongering sycophant’s will have to eat your nasty statement’s and thoughts. But don’t worry there’s always shock-jock right-wing radio for YA. Is Rush, Hanity, LAvin and Savage still saying Global warming is a hoax & the economy is just fine. Well try and get your brain around the number of exhaust pipes now and BEFORE. And check out this THRIVING economy. These are just a couple of things Obama will attempt to fix, or at least shed REAL light on them. If I were Obama I would use a 2×4 upside the head of thy people till they’re dinged sensible. Than get out after 1 term, 8yrs will make that 2×4 seem like a telephone pole. Some of you sheeple can use a good thounk with the later. Regardless of how many terms he’ll want (his Choice) he’ll be that good. He will then hand it off to Billary, you heard me, mark my words you nay-aaee-aaee say-aae-aaers. Break from your flock sheeple it’s a brave new world.

I think he has the potential to be a great President…I don’t even pretend to “know” whether or not he will be.

Impossible to say. We have no ideas what events will shape the Obama presidency. Bush had one of the most turbulent eight years I can remember with events like 9/11, Katrina, Iraq, the housing bubble, etc. How would Obama have reacted? What is on the horizon.
Let’s not jump too far ahead.
I have optimism that he’ll set this country upright. I reserve anything else until he actually takes office.
Besides being absolutely dumb, what other ideas can ya give us?

When you say “go down in history,” I need to ask, According to what historian? For example, some say JFK was a great president, others point to the Bay of Pigs, the Berlin Wall, and the Cuban Missle Crisis and say he was crap.
He will make history as the 44th. What kind of history will not be known until long after we’re all dead. Because that’s how history works. We all know the presidents in our life-times and our parents’ life-times and we are all biased and are not therefore objective enough to answer this question. Assuming objectivity is important to you, but I doubt it.
There might be 2 or 3 of them.
